Reid Cowperthwaite is an avid photographer and videographer dedicated to capturing life’s most meaningful moments in ways that not only reflect personal style but also reveal aspects of his clients they might never have imagined until they see it on film or video. In 2020, Reid created the brand SWIX, which eventually inspired SWIX.MP3: A Full-Service provider for all your media needs.

With years of experience behind the lens, his style blends technical expertise with an artistic eye to showcase you or your subject in the best possible light both literally and figuratively. Whether it’s a musician’s journey through their music, a couple’s love story, or the proud moment of your child’s college graduation, Reid can deliver images and videos that stand the test of time, evoke emotion, and tell your unique story.

Originally from Colorado, Reid moved to Nashville to immerse himself in the city’s vibrant music scene, talent, and rich energy. What made him decide to stay, though, was the people--their creativity, drive, and the sense of community that continually inspires him to push the boundaries of his work.

When Reid is not behind the camera, you’ll likely find him editing photos and videos, mixing, mastering, or recording musicians. As a proud graduate of The Blackbird Academy, Reid brings a deep understanding of both the visual and auditory arts to every project he takes on.​​
